Application Water Softening: STPP is
majorly consumed as a component of commercial detergents. It serves as a
water softener. In hard water, detergents are deactivated. STPP prevents
Calcium and Magnesium from interfering with the detergent. Emulsification: Phosphates are
excellent emulsifiers of oil and fat, turning them into minute droplets
dispersed in the detergent. They supplement the emulsifying effect of surfactants
and/or sodium disilicate. Dispersing agent: Phosphates
